Just A Rank and File Doubleheader?

Justin (aka "Jimmy") Eubanks will tell you he's just another doubleheader. That's far from the truth.

Like Ed Michael, Eubanks is heavily involved in the Teamsters Union, going so far as to serve as a delegate for Tom Leedham at the 2006 Teamster Convention.

Above is a screen shot taken from the September 2006 Teamster Magazine during the time Eubanks was helping the Leedham campaign at the Teamsters.

And the truth shall set you free brothers.

Keep up the good work.

It seems like President Futhey is evading the truth. To believe him means that we have to believe that he failed to read the SMART Constitution for at least five months even when he was running for head of the UTU and to believe him means we have to believe that he never knew Ed Michael or Jim Eubanks had Teamster ties. At least, he didn't seem to care about that when he met with them in October.

Message to President Futhey:

Ed Rodzwicz new BLET President
CLEVELAND, March 24 ¿ Ed Rodzwicz is the new National President of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen, effective immediately.

Former National President Don M. Hahs was removed from office on March 20 by order of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, based upon the recommendations of a hearing panel appointed under Article XIX of the IBT Constitution. Brother Hahs has appealed the decision.

The decision came about after several months of investigation by the Independent Review Board (IRB) and the Article XIX panel. The panel indicated that it was unwilling to conclude that Brother Hahs committed embezzlement; however, it determined that Hahs violated his fiduciary duties to the BLET and its members.

president futhey, don't let this be you.

I heard a rumor that the Ohio Insurance Commission is right now doing their audit of the UTUIA. It looks like they're going to force some changes, some that will not be so good for salaries in Cleveland.

The old utu is gone, all that went out with Thompson and the young guys are taking over, and we will merge with the Teamsters!

I want to thank President Futhey for advertising this Blog.

Initially, I though that the silent majority of UTU members would continue to let a small minority lead us down the road to financial instability like meek little lambs.
